From accounts preparation to payroll; business advice to tax planning – Farnell Clarke offers everything you’d expect from a great accountancy firm. But instead of being intimidating, we’re friendly and approachable. Instead of confusing our clients with financial jargon, we pride ourselves on plain speaking.

About us

Farnell Clarke is a Chartered Accountancy practice with offices in Norwich and Lowestoft.  As you would expect, our team is experienced and well qualified: we know our business and are committed to delivering a professional service. 

But we’re definitely not your typical accountants.  Pop in and see us for a coffee and you won’t find an office full of sharp suits and a scary receptionist.  You will find a group of people who really care about helping our clients to succeed. 

A fixed, transparent approach to pricing

We know that many business owners avoid seeking advice from their accountants because they are worried about the bill they’ll receive.  That’s why our approach to pricing is totally transparent. 

When we begin working with a new client we agree a fixed monthly fee with them.  This not only spreads the cost of essential accountancy tasks such as tax returns and VAT filing, but it also covers day to day advice and guidance.   It means that our clients aren’t afraid to give us a call to ask for help or chat through an idea.

Our people

We’re a young team but we’re not short on skills, experience and enthusiasm.  Every member of staff at Farnell Clarke undergoes regular training to ensure that our skills are up to date.

Our offices are in Norwich and Lowestoft but if you want us to work at your offices once in a while or on a regular basis we’re happy to do this.

We like what we do and keep our fingers on the pulse when it comes to information that could have an impact on your business.  Don’t be surprised if you get a little reminder from us about key dates that you mustn’t miss or updates about changes to legislation that we think might be useful for you.

Helping your KashFlow

For the past three years we’ve been working with a company called KashFlow that has developed an innovative and user friendly online accountancy software package. 

All of our clients have free? access to KashFlow so they can manage their book-keeping themselves.  But because it’s an online system, if you choose to pass over your book-keeping to us, you still have real-time access to all your information and can continue to update information yourself if you want.
