A big part of this approach is our commitment to exploring new ways of working to ensure that we add maximum value to our clients; always adapting and developing our services to meet the changing needs of SMEs.
As you would expect from a firm leading the way in the use of cloud technology for accountancy, we’ve been keeping a close eye the market and what various software providers are offering. Since launching in 2006, Xero has established itself as the UK market leader and we have followed the company’s progress closely. Xero has recently been ranked by Forbes as the world’s most innovative growth company.
Farnell Clarke has been working with Xero for some time now, and several of our clients are already using the software. But after lots of research, and extensive discussions with the Xero team, we have decided to develop this relationship further. In doing so I’m pleased to tell you that Farnell Clarke has become the first Xero Platinum Partner in the East of England, and one of only 12 across the UK.
One of the many things we love about Xero is the investment they’ve made in creating hugely efficient back office tools for accountancy practices and we’ll be using their systems to further streamline our internal processes. Whatever software our clients use, we’ll be able to export data across to Xero to enable us to produce reports and year end returns even more efficiently.
Of course we’ve been a proud partner of KashFlow for several years now and will continue to work closely with them in the future. KashFlow is a firm favourite with many of our clients because its intuitive functionality makes bookkeeping straightforward. The KashFlow software also works seamlessly with other tools such as Receipt Bank.
The benefit of introducing Xero to the business is that we’re now able to offer our clients even more choice; backed up by a business which is really at the forefront of innovation in accountancy software.
Xero offers a myriad of vertical small business solutions such as CRM, Point of Sale and eCommerce; available through online integration with over 400 Xero Add-on Partner applications. There is a free trial and there are no setup or upgrade fees or a lock-in contract. There is unlimited online support.
